Rocket Ship Baby Cake

A friend from college, Kelly (Patrick) Snyder asked us to make a cake for a baby shower that involved rocket ships since that is the nursery theme.  It is always fun to get something different to do and we enjoyed doing this cake!  Hope you like it!

Bring on the Cupcakes!

So we have decided that cupcakes are our favorite things to decorate!  It can be a lot of fun making them each unique and you seem to be able to do more with them. Last weekend, we did baby shower cupcakes for Natalie (who is by far our #1 customer!!!).  They turned out so cute and were so fun - esp. the baby carriage ones.

Then this week, we made some flower cupcakes for a teacher friend at Bonnie's school.  This was a first making these flowers and they were fun to make.  We hope to do more like these in the future!

Katie S is Getting Married!

A girl that both Bonnie and Heather went to Clemson with, Katie, is getting married next month.  She teaches at the same school with Bonnie.  We took the invitation scrap paper that was used and matched the pattern the best that we could.  We also tried a new chocolate recipe that was fantastic!!  Thanks to Donna!!!  We can't wait to make (and eat) it again!

Baby Quilt Cake

This week we did a shower for the four ladies at Bonnie's school who are expecting.  We went with green and yellow for a generic look and thought that it turned out really cute.  It was suppose to look like a quilt and we hope that was what people saw!  We had a ton of fun with this was since we were able to do so many different patterns and designs.  We hope that you like it just as much!!

More Baby Celebrations!

Like I said, we have lots of baby shower cakes these two weeks.  For this past weekend, we had two cakes to make.  One for a little boy and one for a girl.  Please enjoy!  Also, don't forget to become our friend on facebook if you haven't already!

Bring on the Baby Showers

So... we have 3 baby shower cakes this week and one (for 80 ppl) next!!!  We did one last night, for a school shower today.  It turned out quite cute! 

This was a first for us - we hadn't made a tiered cake except for in our class.  Also, please take note of Heather's apron!  We got matching ones and my aunt put our names on them.  There will be a picture of the both of us coming soon!!
